This was the first conversation in the African Leadership Perspectives Series, which invites African public figures and former African heads of state to the Wilson Center to discuss US-Africa relations and share insights on African leadership. H.E. Obasanjo reflected on his time as Nigeria’s president and the challenges he and his fellow African leaders faced leading Africa into the 21st century.
